I see it this way. If you are a total innocent, an absolute beginner, you _may_ have a chance. If you know even a _little_ bit about the way things are, well, then, forget it. You know even less than the total innocent. Mindfulness will only hurt you until you are in close to total control of yourself - the practiced playa. Until then, you know _less_ than nothing, and you have _less_ than zero control of the situation. You do not fit into nature’s plan: there is no niche for you. ---

After visiting her at her apartment for about 2 hours, she asked me if I wanted to spend the night. Upon getting into bed I realized she meant to sleep, nothing else. Coulda fooled me! ---

If I can withstand one of your acid-excreting tapeworms, what makes you think I am going to settle for being listed as the junior researcher, the fact that I’m younger than you? Also, I apparently stood at the wrong window, because after about 5 minutes I heard a thumping sound behind me and looked to see a tapeworm (or the remains thereof) slithering down my east-facing window. ---
