Much rather have breast envy rather than penis envy. Men judge natural physcality much less harshly than women… Women are really much more judgemental than men sexually. They really are in truth much more mysogynistic than men.

Being able to go down to the park by myself and watch the kiddies play on the jungle gym without worrying that people think I’m a pedobear would be nice. I had kids that age once, alright, and sometimes I like to reminisce.

“A misogynist is a man who hates women as much as women hate one another.” - H.L. Mencken.

Women are pretty notorious for tearing one each other down, or up. Like it or not.

You know, I never thought of it that way. Scratch “pee standing up” from my list. Not having to deal with periods would be good though, cause that way I wouldn’t have the PMS or the stupid fluctuations in insulin sensitivity that are associated with a woman’s monthly cycle. Its fine when your body works as it should, but as an insulin-dependent diabetic, its not fun at all.

Apart from that, nah, nothing I’d change. I like being a woman. Even if I do have trouble doing what I’m told on the dancefloor, I just have to do it, the guys have to _think_ about what they want us to do!

Body hair acceptance. I have to do so much hair removal to even be socially acceptable in shorts, it’s ridiculous. It’s time-consuming and expensive and inefficient and it _hurts_, and I hate hate _hate_ it, and the respectable amount of allowed hair is becoming less and less and less. Do you remember when only women in pornography waxed their vulvas (which, by the way, HURTS LIKE BEES)? Yeah, me too. Don’t even talk to me about swimming.

Comfortable shoes. I know that every pair of shoes I buy is going to make me bleed. I’m not wearing stripper shoes here, you know, or anything exciting - I buy pumps and trainers and flat sandals and I still end up limping and trailing gore. Husband thinks this is ridiculous. He is right.

Also, handlebar moustaches. I want one. They’re awesome.

I would have almost certainly gotten laid at a much earlier age if I were of the gender that isn’t expected to initiate relationships.

On the other hand, there’s a fair chance (assuming a gender flip with all personality traits more or less intact) I would have ended up in more than one relationship with guys who treated me like shit and been too insecure to break it off.

Nice usename/post combo.

Have you considered wearing board shorts over a standard one piece for swimming? It might take the pressure off waxing/shaving/bleaching. That said, I’m a guy, so I don’t have this issue.

Physical strength. It would be nice to be able to open doors without leaning on them.

Being taken seriously in the technical fields, and not being talked to condescendingly.

You guys can keep your floppy pee hoses and itchy facial hair, and I’ll keep my hairless hiney and earth shattering orgasms. 😃

Would be nice if my pants fit comfortably all the time, without all them dangly things getting bound up in folds of fabric if I sit wrong.

Notwithstanding your characterization of my genitals, I’m oddly aroused by this sentence. :o

Besides the painful parts related to children, having a child inside you, and nursing after.

Other are wearing more various and beautiful clothes, in general more beautiful, greater potential for sexual pleasures, greater acceptance in asking for and getting help/assistance.

I’m with **Tom Scud** here–it’d be nice to not have to be the initiator of romantic relationships once in a while. I’ve also kinda got the opposite of **Anaamika** ’s thing in that there’s something fascinating about the idea of being penetrated in an orfice that’s (relatively) optimized to be penetrated.

I could also do without the perceived obligation to be the one who supports the family and brings home the turkey bacon.

And I’m also on the “I’d like to be able to be in the company of kids that are not mine without being labeled a pervert/pedophile.” Hell, I get that look sometimes when I’m alone with a kid I’m actually supposed to be babysitting.

This is possible to do neatly, with practice (and a couple fingers directing things properly).

> Women on average have a longer life span, a superior immune system, and better dexterity. As well as better color discrimination, better social intelligence, slightly better senses of taste, smell and touch, more flexible joints, and greater mental stability. I’d like all of those, especially if I get to keep all the standard male advantages like muscle mass on top of them.

I’m not much of a ‘Cite!’ shouter, but may I ask where are you getting all this from? I’ve seen some evidence over the years regarding longer life span, very slightly better colour discrimination and olfactory senses… but the rest?

The one I find most surprising is the claim regarding the immune system. This may be true, but it doesn’t square with my own personal experience over the past 30 years or so. One thing that has genuinely astounded me over the years is how some women seem to live their entire lives lurching from one minor health complaint to another, as if ‘I feel perfectly fine and healthy today’ was some sort of crime or admission of failure. Apologies to all if this is a skewed perception.
