So sorry for your loss, Mrs. Shoe. I’ve followed your threads since the beginning. Mr. Shoe’s illness inspired me to report my neighbor’s mosquito-infested backyard cesspool to the authorities. And hey, I didn’t see a single mosquito all summer! So thanks for that, Mr. Shoe. :-] I’ve been rooting for you guys all along, and it makes my heart ache to hear that he’s gone. His condition might have been fatal immediately, though… in another time or place. And you guys had an extra year together, so that’s something. It’s terrible and unfair that he lost his fight after you two waged such a battle together. I’m right here in DFW if you ever need anything. ---
