Home from irk early just cause I could. Normally the snow birds will have begun to leave by now but they just keep coming. I is tired and a little burned out. Go home folks. Nothing to see here. TGIF. I plan to try to sleep some this weekend in between Hot Flashes:smack: shit be driving me crazy. Between the flashes and the sneezing, tis hard to get any rest. I am having a cocktail or three. **FCM** , yes, but we finally evicted her around the end of February. The cops were supposed to “help”, but they didn’t show until my husband kicked in the front door. When they saw the house, and the niece’s very high condition, they told her and her boyfriend to gather their shit, and stand on the curb. It was a several hour debacle. The house was so disgusting, the cops wouldn’t let me get past the living room. They hadn’t had water or electricity for quite some time, so they had taken the gutters down on one side of the house to use them to collect rain water. Furthermore, they tore apart the plumbing inside to get to any water caught in the traps. Feces was MOUNDED in the toilets. The stench was so bad in that house that I retched, and I have a strong stomach. There was trash everywhere. She had sold off everything that wasn’t nailed down. It cost us over 7500 bucks to get that house cleaned up and ready for sale. Then there’s the cost of the appliances she stole and sold off. There was the cost of them tampering with the meter and paying for the power she stole, and getting it turned back on. When it was all said and done, she probably cost us close to 16,000 dollars. That bitch is dead to me and I hope she rots in hell. However, there was a bidding war on the house. We ended up selling it for a little more than asking price and don’t have to replace the appliances, carpeting, etc. I can’t wait to have the whole estate business behind me. The rest of the nieces and nephews are pissed at us because we “kicked out” their “poor” sister. Yeah, the sister who was so fucked up on drugs that she can’t take care of her kids, so now someone else has to care for them. The poor sister who bought drugs instead of food for her kids. I don’t feel one bit sorry for that lying piece of trash. And, none of those idiots are writing any checks to cover costs, so they can stuff it. Bleh! Sorry about that. I’ve been keeping stuff bottled up, and it surprises me how angry I become about it, even now. ---

I paid the utilities for the Tenant From Hell. They had turned the water back on when the utility shut it off for nonpayment, and the utility was preparing to pull the meter. Now I have the Tenant From Heaven, a young guy with a medical discharge from the 101st Airborne. ---

**Taters** glad all that is almost behind ya. Also, what **MOOOOOOM** said, this is the place to vent. **Butters** we gave up red meat for Holy Week. So, technically, at 12:01 A.M. Sunday, I could grill steaks. 😃 Actually we shall be munchin’ on ham Sunday. Pork is considered to be a red meat even though it’s really not. So it’s been a weak without ham, sausage and :eek: bacon :eek:! Anywho, dindin has been et. Chikin noodle soup and toasted cheese sammiches. OYKW is in the kitchen whippin’ up the cheesecake. It must then be baked, then must set in the oven for a while after it’s done. Fine by me. If’n I get sleepy I can go beddy bye. He’s the one who has to babysit the cheesecake. ---

I shoulda trusted my gut. The shortbread recipe said to use an ungreased pan, even tho there was no shortening in the batter. I shoulda greased it. I didn’t. Getting it out was a mess. Plus the recipe isn’t all that good - berries with whipped cream would have been better, and easier. Oh well, lesson learned. The rest of my supper was leftover Polish sausage and some cuke salad. Not great, but easy, which is what matters. As this dreary day winds down, I’m ready to snooze - early bedtime in my future. ---

I spent most of today helping RT’s sister move into her new apartment. Now I am ready for a nap. There’s a slight chance that RT will be home for the weekend even though it’s his weekend to work. I’m not going to hold my breath. But it would be nice to see him. ---

I took a nap and now I’m awake. I’m hungry. I’m not sure what I want to eat though. I took out ground beef to make hamburgers but everybody is in the kitchen so I need to get something quick and easy. Maybe just a bagel with cream cheese. That way I can cram the cheese back into the fridge and hopefully crush a few cigars. I feel so bad, I sent a fruit basket to my mother’s bf but he can’t eat fruit. :smack: Something told me I should have asked first. He is happy with the thought so that is something. His family will chow down on it so it won’t go to waste. ---
