In the book The Language Instinct, Steven Pinker talks about how taking a word with irregular plurals or past tenses or whatever, and exporting that into another context or compound word, becomes regular. An example is in baseball, a player can “fly out,” meaning hitting a fly ball that results in an out. The past tense is “flied out.”

So going by that and how humans usually to this, it should be Bigfoots.

But not “fly outed”?

Yes, those are the type of things I’m talking about by “experts” claiming that there are details in the film that can’t be faked, like the “expert” who proved that Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan and their airplane were in that photo recently, and the “experts” who prove that there are details in crop circles that are too complex to have been made by pranksters.

Are you going by the word of “bigfoot experts”, or are you a qualified expert in those areas that has examined the footage yourself and reached that conclusion?

The question stands–are you an expert in these fields? Can you show me high resolution modern video of chimps, gorillas, or orangs walking around where you can see muscles rippling under their thick coat of hair? Can you show me these rippling muscles in the old low-resolution Bigfoot video? Can you prove to me any “rippling” in the video couldn’t also be movement of folds in a loose fabric costume? Can you show me any primate species that grows hair in the pattern of that bigfoot, with the hair rising to just below eye level, leaving just a narrow strip of skin available? And would you like to buy this nice bridge I have in New York?

I would suggest that anybody really interested in the topic visit the site below. The discussion on Bigfoot has been going on there for 12 years and almost 8,300 posts (in three threads), so I suspect you can get most of your answers there…if you have several weeks free to read it all…
