We did the deed in 1974, at age 17, a mutual exchange of virginities. She’s out shopping for a few more holiday items at the moment, and will be back home in a couple of hours. ---

Living in Asheville, North Carolina. She’s separated from her husband, raising her daughter alone, while working as a realtor. She was always sort of eccentric, and she’s really into Buddhism and meditation lately. We’re Facebook friends. ---

I do not know where she lives or what she’s doing. I know she’s married with kids (probably adults by now) because I saw the obituary for her mother some years ago. She would be early sixties to my late sixties. ---

Mine is married to the chick he picked up on the rebound, after either I dumped him for My Other Shoe or My Other Shoe stole me from him, depending on which sob story he stuck with. She was (still is, I guess) a super-bubbly bleach-blonde sorority chick with absolutely enormous boobs and a rather bossy demeanor. I’m … very decidedly none of those things, which made his rebound with her the butt of many jokes among our circle of mutual acquaintances. They just had their 2nd baby. Both are daughters, which I find hilarious given his simplistic Madonna/whore complex & the whiffs of misogyny in his personality that I was too naive to pick up on, at the time. Now he’s the only male in a house full of females, and the rare times he appears in her Facebook pictures - on the occasion of each birth, mostly - he has that frozen “I’m smiling because it’s expected of me” expression usually seen on the faces of kidnapping victims being videotaped telling the world how wonderful their captors are. Ah, Facebook. The Other Shoe and I had enough mutual friends with him that I’d have known all this through gossip even without FB’s existence, but there’s a certain amusement from seeing the evidence firsthand. ---

I’m a non-gold star gay, so I get two. Female: we’re still friends, she still lives in the same town although has her own condo. We text a few times a year and are Facebook friends. If I ever found myself in Florida, we’d do dinner and drinks, I’m sure. Male: Again, still friends on Facebook and Instagram. We hung out when he came to Chicago with his husband. We text about once of month, often about our college or memories of music we used to listen to. ---

No clue. I ran into her once about 10 years after we dated, chatted for about five minutes, and never saw her again. IIRC she said she was playing guitar in coffee shops around town, and that was probably 20+ years ago. I’ve thought about looking her up on Facebook but ehhh, why bother? ---

Last I heard she was managing a mobile home park and her husband was a rural postal carrier. They had been wiped out in the 2008 recession. I understand they raised a very fine family, though. ---

She went East, I went West. Got a few emails from her a couple of years ago. She’s with a long-term partner, seems happy. It seems like we both have fond memories of each other, and enough time and distance to overlook the youthful mistakes. ---

I saw her on TV a few years back, part of a story about a special part of a military cemetery for homosexuals where she hoped to plant her partner. Wife hated her so I was able to make her last days happy by telling her that my first was now gay. Wife could hold a grudge for decades. ---
