So extreme. It’s not like I’m driving through at 35mph. I’m going maybe 5mph. If another car is pulling into the opposite space, well if I am there first then I’ve got it, and if they are there first then they’ve got it (and I’m already in mine, my 2nd choice spot).
Easy peasy, and all other spaces can be occupied and this can be done very safely.
It has happened a few times. Sometimes they’re there first and I yield, other times I’m there first and they yield. And they don’t look too pleased either but they’ll eventually get over it.
