I didn’t see anything at all “snarky” about your post, and I’m not much bothered by being wrong on occasion. And I’m serious about not needing independent verification that the original had some color in it. I believe both of you without any qualification whatever.

Look, your post came off on the nasty side. Generally in my experience people don’t say things like “This is absolutiely the first time in all of history that my memory has failed me” if they aren’t intending to be sarcastic. If that wasn’t your intention, then my bad. I’m done talking about it.

Anyway, I just did a quick run-through of my tape and in at least one of the color sequences I can confirm that there are bits of wall behind the painting which are in color as well. It’s not terribly noticeable but enough that when I watched it it pulled my focus.
