They can have my pepperoni when they pry it from my cold dead clogged arteries!! Pah, what do the Italians think they know about pizza anyway! 😉 Of course, I note the “official definition” is only for _Neopolitan_ pizza, not all pizzas, so I guess we’re cool. ---

They don’t have pepperoni in Italy. If you order a peperoni pizza, you’ll get green, red, and yellow peppers. And Neopolitan is ostensibly the standard pizza sold here in the U.S. ---

I love Neapolitan pizza, the margharetta (sp) is fantastic, never knew a cheese pizza could be so good. Used to go to the place down the street and order a pizza to go. Could be in and out in 7-10 minutes. Pizza in Rome or Florence is not the same as in Naples and Naples was the ‘birthplace’ of the modern pizza, it deserves the official title. ---
