If there was no illegal/unlawful activity (aka no crime committed) which law enforcement agency would you ask to conduct the investigation?
That’s one of the benefits of having a Geheime Staatzpolizei, you can get them to investigate things that aren’t illegal or unlawful.
I think you should ask the President. He’s the one tweeting about how these leaks are threatening our national security and lamenting that the FBI can’t stop them.
So which is it: are the leaks harmless or are they going to destroy America?
How do you know there’s no illegal/unlawful activity without the investigation?
And how do you decide it’s time to stop investigating?
When a Republican is the target.
The Seattle Tribune is reporting that the recent leaks from the White House may be coming from 45’s unsecured Android phone.
Why is it that when I google ARH Intelligence, Z 13 Security, or Thomas McDowell, nothing seems to come up except for the Seattle Tribune?
Oh, it’s because the Seattle Tribune is a humor newspaper.
:smack:
I fell for it.

I’m in favor of investigations. The more, the merrier. Especially investigations of our elected officials and government agencies. Keeps them all on their toes. Hopefully, it makes them think that they may be next.
Leaking personal/general conversations to the media is not a crime but it is a reason to fire the person, or persons, responsible. Leaking classified information to anyone who doesn’t have the proper clearance is a crime. Which is it in this case?
So far, there is no evidence that a crime has actually been committed. Unless you know otherwise, of course. So which law enforcement agency do you believe should be responsible for investigating non-criminal activity?
Trump staffers do not leak information to Russia. Trump has Top Men who do that.
Are you referring to a general investigation, or a criminal investigation? The WH is investigating. Isn’t that what the Democrat collective is whining about? How dare the WH hold an internal investigation to discover leaks from inside the WH?
There doesn’t seem to be any reason for the FBI to get involved, yet. The FBI would need something a little stronger than “feelings” before allocating resources for a criminal investigation to investigate someone who was only sucking up to the media.
If the leakers were also paying off blackmailers, or turning over classified information to the Chinese, or being paid in cash, drugs, and hookers, then there would be a strong evidence to open a CRIMINAL investigation.
Why would you expect anyone to stop investigating? “They” are still investigating Bridgegate. Congress isn’t finished investigating ol’ Hillary’s bathroom email server.
Hahahaha. You may think that your boss is a Nazi if they oversee your work performance, or question you expenditures, but claiming there is a Geheime Staatzpolizei in the WH is simply fake news.
Why do you keep asking me? I’m not the guy who rifles through my employee’s personal cell phones.
You need to address your questions to Sergeant Schultz. I mean Sergeant Spicer. I know nothing!!!
Skip the middle men, Obama personally offered to bend over for Putin.
*“This is my last election,” Obama is heard telling outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. “After my election, I have more flexibility.”
Medvedev replied in English, according to ABC News: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir,” an apparent reference to incoming President Vladmir Putin.
…Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich also questioned Obama’s motives.
“I’m curious, how many other countries has the president promised that he’d have a lot more flexibility the morning he doesn’t have to answer to the American people?” Gingrich said on CNN.

It occurs to me that there is no better user name for a Trump defender here.
