# The porn czar cometh?

I dunno. I read the article again and I still don’t see her to be the ultimate act against freedom of press/speech/whatever.
Just some chick. Who hasn’t had sex. And wants to uphold the law.
I find the laws to be questionable but not their defense, if that makes any sense. Consider the election of a judge who may preside over a death penalty hearing (or the jurors, for that matter): “You cannot condemn this man to death because you’ve never killed before.” “But, one doesn’t need to practice evil to fight it!”
And so on.

Someone who willingly upholds a law that the government had no right to make is no better than the cretins who created it.

I don’t know, but the article didn’t mention any plans to do such a thing.
I heard somewhere that someone is working on a satellite modem that can upload as well as download(the ones we have now can only download, and depend on a regular modem connection to request data, which makes them useless for multiplayer games). Once one is developed, people who use it will be safe from people like Paula Houston.
In space, there are no community standards.
