Due to the amazing success Hal Briston received with his housing request I am asking for the power of the dope to be used to help my grandmother.
Last month (or was it the month prior) she fell at home and spend t a few days in the hospital before bring moved to a rehab center.
Two weeks ago she was supposed to have a UTI test performed to see why she was urinating as much as she did. Before the test could be administrated she had a “panic attack” and her BP went very high.
She had to be admitted to the hospital again where they say she has pneumonia. While being treated for that she starting to suffer from diarrhea.
Now the doctors say she can go back to the rehab center when her diarrhea stops.
I need the positive thoughts from the Dopers for her health and well being. I know that if the power of the Dope can get Hal the house of his dreams it can help here.
I don’t think the Power that is the Straight Dope will provide material gain in the form on money. I think it assists with Food, Shelther and Health.
With that said, if you were going to start a foundation to help student dopers go to school and provide them money for food and shelter I don’t see why the Power of the Straight Dope won’t send fortune you way.

Love heals. Spend time with her. Talk to her like she’s a human. Be her friend. I learned from my grandfather-in-law that those things can move mountains. Good mental health aids good physical help.
I think if you are worried enough about your granny to post here, you probably already do those things. In which case, our good wishes are plan B. (Not that there is anything wrong with that)
