Alright. How many dopers out there opened this thread thinking that Q-Tips had found another use for their swabs? Thinking that they had, Ashkicker runs to the medicine cabinet, checks back of Q-Tips box, reads warning label. WARNING: If used to clean ears, stroke gently around the outer surface of the ear, without entering the ear canal. Do not use swab in the ear canal. Entering the ear canal could cause gratification, I mean injury. Damn you Q-Tips. I had my hopes up. 😃 ---

I’m sitting at home on a lonely, rainy Saturday night and stumbled across this thread…Now I’m sitting at my PC with a Q-Tip hanging out of my right ear…and…and… ahhh…nothing! I am most certainly frigid! Damn. I envy all of you. I’ll try the left. I must have some sort of satisfaction this evening. I wonder if this is why the older woman I work with is always wiggling the cotton tipped wooden applicators we use at the lab in her ears? Is she privately writhing in orgasmic pleasure as we work? In public? ---

Maybe you are not doing it right. The Q-Tip shouldn’t be hanging out of the ear. You should be stroking the Q-Tip gently on the outer surface, without entering the ear canal. If this still isn’t working. You could obtain some satisfaction by taking your frustrations out on the Q-Tip and ripping it apart cotton swab by cotton swab until you feel much better. 😃 ---

I think I just figured out why my 13 year old son is suddenly going through so many Q-tips. I’ve never experienced this, but then I’m paranoid about sticking swabs in my ears; I usually just wrap my washcloth around my finger while I’m in the shower and dig the gunk out that way. ---
