I find only on small flaw in what otherwise seems to be a sterling character. He defends the right of physicians to scrawl illegible prescriptions. But as a fellow alkie I grant the right of alkies to be unreasonable sometimes. 😉
And anyone who has flown Stearman’s is top notch in my book.

Alas, **Mr. Simmons** , there is another. But his sin of preferring orange cheddar to white is almost perfectly counterbalanced by his fondness for Golden Retrievers.

I said something similar once - especially in medical threads, like **eleanorrigby** noted here, he doesn’t condescend, but he somehow manages to make me understand his explanations.
Plus, from the pictures and descriptions he’s shown us here, I wanna go live where he does.

All this praise is sickening and I find it personally offensive and will remember every name on this thread when I Ascend. For those of you who pretend not to know, Qadgop the Mercotan _killed my daddy_.
It was a Tuesday, I’ll never forget it.
Knock on the door. “Who’s there I said?”
Me, Qadgop the Mercotan came the answer.
“What do you want?”
Your daddy. I’m here to kill him.
“He’s in the bathroom, be with you in just a minute.”
I’ve often thought I could have done something different, but it all happened so fast, hardly six hours from the knock until the final arterial spray. Also I was young, this being more than a few weeks ago, and had some hearing loss from my job at the bazooka range, and there was a special marathon of the “Ugly woman in hair rags who yells at her husband” segments of Hee-Haw that I’d been looking forward to for some while that was clearly too special to ever be on TV again thanks to the liberal elite snobbish Hollywood factions, and I assumed that they were just playing until the field dressing started.
So remember that this is the hero you’re all saluting and fawning over. And I happen to know for a fact that his prom date was none other than Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme, whom he broke out of prison for the occasion.
Qadgop if I ever see you on the street, mano y mano, you better hope that I’m not running late for an appointment or something or I’m going to give you the nastiest opening lines you ever had in any Rap Battle, even if it takes me all day to find a racial slur or sexually insulting innuendo that rhymes with Mercotan.

The man is simply amazing!
You may think it’s not terribly remarkable for a doc to be as well-versed and informed as **Qad**. Let me tell you - it most definitely is not. He is uniquely eclectic and knowledgeable. As a member of a med school faculty, I spend every day surrounded by people whose job it is to teach the next generation of physicians. By and large they’re a pretty sharp bunch. But none can hold a candle to our very own **Qad**. He makes them look ignorant.
You don’t know how lucky and privileged you are to have **Qad** around. Believe me, docs as astute and wide-ranging in information as he is, are rare indeed.

Another **QtM** fan checking in. I like how he can explain medical stuff in plain English for those of us who can’t decipher medical jargon. When I was anticipating gall bladder surgery last year, I searched until I found relevant threads that he had posted in. If I can’t have him as my own doc, I can sure take advantage of his virtual bedside manner here!

I’m very much a newbie, and very much a QtM fan. I too have gotten so much pleasure (and info) from the posts he’s made since I’ve been here that I’ve searched for the older ones.
