I bought a Tolkien book on Qadgop’s recommendation.

I’ll add my name to the list of admirers. He’s got it together after conquering life’s oh-so-funny hardship called addiction. That makes him kin.
He also tells great stories; the ones that humorously illustrate his job are my favorites.

Hinty McHint: He’s an RN who also works in the WI prison system. I don’t know what facility. But he was telling some of his stories from work, and I mentioned this prison doc on the message board who had some doozies. He asked who it was, and I said I didn’t know your name, but you were into sci-fi/fantasy, Tolkien, etc., and he said he knew who I meant. He lives in Ripon, I think, and runs a winter folk concert series there. If that doesn’t peg him for you, let me know!

Nothing to add but complete agreement from a recovering cheese head - **QtM** = quality.
I believe he is actually treating a childhood friend of mine, who has made some bad life choices.
But keep on keeping on - you add a lot to the boards.

Yes, I know, we’ve been bad. We’ve been missing quite a few of the regular concert series around here – too busy and all that. But we go whenever we can!

Not like he needs even more applause, but add me to the list of **QtM** fans! I’m certain that it must be tiresome to have a profession which leads people to ask you, even in non-working hours, “so what do you think about this?”. But he handles it all with style, eloquence and grace!
If QtM ever leaves the Dope, it’ll be a black, black day indeed.
