How does one pronounce “Yaoi”? What is it? Can you use it in a sentence? ---

I usually know what word is being referred to whan a letter is used, but one time I was really confused reading a post here and it said somebody ‘dropped the N-bomb’ meaning somebody said ‘nigger’, but it took me a a few seconds to realise they didn’t actually mean ‘neutron bomb’… ---
