At least some good news out of this sad season (sad for a Cardinals fan anyway). The Red Sox are my second favorite team. Maybe we’ll get to see something _really_ interesting this year - a Cubs/BoSox World Series! ---

i put my hope in the fact that boston won world series in the begining of the 1900’s. perhaps boston is an early century team… cubs/red sox series would be just one more indication that an ice age is upon us. it would be interesting to see which team comes up with the finestkind of losing fluke. ---

Would it be possible for the Red Sox and Cubs BOTH to lose the World Series? Yes, I know, but these two teams have an amazing ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
