I’ve been listening to a lot of Brent tunes over the last week - glad I’m not the only one! Love those high harmony parts.

All of my friends come to see me last night
I was laying in my bed and dying…
(Side note for the curious. Those of you (some? many? all?) who knew this, please forgive the over-explanation.)
**Corbomite** manoeuvred with a “… just lay it on the line,” which had me jumping right to Beat it on Down the Line. Simple, huh? Ah, wait. That tune always had a bit of fluffy fun in it, a giddy time right at the beginning. Whenever they’d start it there’d be a series of beats (or sometimes none at all, you never can tell, can you?). You can hear them in your head now, can’t you?\* Baahhn-baahhn-baahhn-baahhn-baahhn-baahhn!\* (Well, that’s what I was trying to spell, anyway.)
Though often baffling, they usually had an easily interpretable meaning; spot on the tour, day of the month, etc. They did 42 on Mickey’s 42[sup]nd[/sup]. If you never noticed, go pull up a couple shows at [archive.org](http://archive.org) (or wherever) and give it a listen.
I was post #54 so I figured that was a bit much, then I realized it was June first—so six beats it was!
Oh—has anyone else had the time to listen to all the tunes mentioned so far? Man I wish I found this thread earlier. Thanks!
