That was a pretty good speech. Trump made his appeal to the berniebros, lgbtq, and generally laid out a plan without insulting anyone. That being said it was absolutely terrifying him promising to turn the US into a police state on in first day in office and he sure didn’t make any sense with huge tax breaks followed by twenty minutes on how much more money he was going to spend. I’m also curious how many hours a day he thinks there are if he is going to individually negotiate true agreements with every country in the world. One question I had was is he seriously proposing cutting off immigration from every country with terrorists? It seems like that includes France at this point so that seems like he wants to end all immigration which I haven’t heard before. ---

So as I saw it lived streamed, appears the nominee and is VP ended the RNC convention with The Rolling Stones, you can’t always get what you want. I can only go with “practiced in the art of deception” and bloody hands was directed to his openent. ---

Here are the nnotes I took while watching: Not good at reading TelePrompter speeches Blatant play for Bernheads Why did he seem to link Pence with opposition to free trade? What was the weird swipe under his chin? Trump just called out GOP for traditionally being antigay This speech was boring. Might be the worst error Trump could make. He’s checking boxes. “I’m not sure I deserve it”–most self-effacing thing he has ever said? The “loyalty pledge” jibe was clever, I will grant him that. Is his youngest son really only nine? He’s so tall! I also wonder if he is on the autism spectrum. Why on Earth would they play “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” at the end? ---

I appreciate no one jumping on me for my misquote earlier I believe it is practiced at the art… That song certainly was an interesting choice. I think he felt it very appropriate, all about him and her a twisted tale indeed. Try listening to the song again. ---

Trump can’t possibly believe that he can deliver on even ten percent of all those promises. I’ve never seen that level of desperation before. It was stunning in it’s dishonesty. ---
