The liquor store (a.k.a. “Package Store,” a.k.a. “ABC Store”) in my hometown was located in what appeared to have been the administrative offices of an old factory. For some reason, an extremely tall brick wall extended from one corner of the building to the end of the parking area, effectively blocking it from view. This structure was referred to as “The Baptist Wall” (particularly fitting since it was quite popular with students at the Baptist-affiliated college in the town 15 minutes up the road). ---

The appalling part is that, notwithstanding the protests and the apparent disgust of the governor, probably a significant part of the population feels the same way.
