Actually, her plan is reasonably sound for what she wanted to achieve. 1. Get punched in the face. 2. Get a lot of free media coverage on her. 3. Gain notoriety. That’s apparently profit to her. ---

I’m, wow. Just when you think there’s nothing they could do that would shock you, boom. So let me get this straight - handing out blankets and care bags is facilitating the drug cartels? Those migrants have already arrived. What, do they think migrants are sitting back in Guatemala thinking, "You know, hiking to the US through Mexico and paying hundreds of dollars I don’t have and risking violence from traffickers and possibly rape is not a very attractive plan, but just think, if I make it to America, I might get one of those nifty swag bags that charities are handing out. I have to wonder about the token compensatory damages, though. First, that seems to be indicating that they thought that the damage to Mann’s reputation had no value. Second, aren’t punitive damages usually scaled to the compensatory damages?
