Two separate Republican guys were charged with two separate murders. The Republican part has nothing to do with the murders, but the second guy clearly had some issues, so maybe they are not the best candidates for office? Kyle Hayden Lewter, who had done campaign work for former U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks and former U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions, 2022 chairman of Madison County Young Republicans and works for Alabama State Sen.
