You know what would be awesome? The United States Congress enacting legislation that any convicted felon will not have the flag of the United States lowered to half-staff/half-mast to honor them nor will said convicted felon be eligible for “lying in state” at the Capitol or for a state funeral. That’s what would be awesome. And how could the republican party go against such legislation what with how they glorify the flag (so they say)? ---

There are certain characters who are obviously allusions to particular comic book characters but if you know who Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman the Flash and Captain America are you will get it. The real warning is that there is an awful lot of gore and gratuitous (particularly male) nudity. So if that kind of stuff turns you off its probably not for you., but if you can shrug off the occasional 8 foot long prehensile penis ripping someone in half.then give it a go. ---

Yeah, the gore I can stomach for the most part. I don’t care about male nudity, but it’s interesting that these days men are “objectifide” more than when I was growing up, which I presume is a good thing. Equal opportunity “objectification”. ---

She makes a lot of her career as a police officer, which would be fine, except for the time she arrested a baby. And the alleged assault on a shoplifter.
