If you agree with Kinzinger that the core of the GOP are anti-democratic loons, changing to Independent status and caucusing with Democrats is the best, most visible and most _right_ way to make your point. ---

Nah, they still believe that they are saving the GOP by their actions. And they would never in a million years switch to the other party, I mean, really, join up with _those_ people? What I am saying is that they, like so many, have so internalized the literal demonization of the Democratic party that it is not an option to switch. ---
