Saying he was present at the torture sessions doesn’t do it justice. One could be present at a torture session and be horrified by what they saw. But if interviewee is to be believed, DeSantis participated in the torture on a psychological level and reveled in it. But I agree most of the GOP base will think that those damn terrorists got what they deserved, and that it just proves what a badass DeSantis is. ---

Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne has [set up a hotline](https://ktar.com/story/5470135/arizona-parents-can-report-inappropriate-lessons-in-school-through-new-hotline/) for parents to complain about CRT, among other things, being taught to their kid. An investigator will be dispatched to the school without notifying the teacher _or_ the principal. Not chilling at all. ---

That sounds unAmerican!” “The biology textbook has obscene pictures of plant reproductive parts!” “The science textbooks say the earth is billions of years old! And round!” Just overwhelm them. ---
