I honestly can’t believe that women at the convention are not having a fit about this. This is the most sexist thing I’ve ever heard of. If I go to a tech convention, they don’t have makeup touch-up booths on the side. But, I guess the Repubs want the women at their event to look good on camera? ---

And not just attending, but giving papers, being on panels, being the program chair and the general chair too. I think MIT is more than 50% female these days, a far cry from when I went. Anyhow, at the shows I go to the men would probably benefit more for a booth than the women, and I definitely include myself. ---
