[Gregg Easterbrook](http://espn.go.com/page2/s/tmq/030902.html) calls them the “Potomac Drainage Basin Indigenous Persons”, so you can always try that.

I thought TMQ was referring to them as the Washington Persons.

I think he calls them the ‘Persons’ for short sometimes. I don’t think he uses Washington though. That I can recall.

I love TMQ. I’ve read it since he was on Slate and he just amazes me. Especially when you find out he’s this Distinguished Fellow who writes about Serious Subjects.
