As a big fan of \*SportsNight \* and _The West Wing_, I find it wonderful news that Aaron Sorkin has a [new series](http://news.yahoo.com/s/eo/20060301/en_tv_eo/18458) in the works.

I saw an interview that Sorkin did on Charlie Rose where he mentioned that he was working on this, but that was a couple years ago. I figured it hadn’t gotten past the concept stage.

I wonder if he has a part picked out for Joshua Malina yet.

Oh, goodie. Now, if NBC will just sit on their impatience and let Sorkin _write_, instead of pushing him out for late scripts, we might have a show where the first episode is as good as the last, and will run a full 7-8 years.
