And you’re _registering_ not using the login, right? You clicked the “register” link that goes to [http://fathom.org/teemingmillions/people/register.html](http://fathom.org/teemingmillions/people/register.html) ? You’ll get the no permission error if you just try to login without registering first… ---

porcupine, first you have to get a picture of yourself, resize it to 150 x 150 pixels, upload it somewhere and then put the link to the picture in the “profile photo” section of the profile screen. ---

Totally unrelated. 🙂 Porcupine: you can’t upload a picture, you need to upload it elsewhere. Hopefully by the end of today I’ll have a place for that, too, though. 🙂 ---

**OpalCat** and **Democritus** , Thanks. I looked at the html for someone’s profile page and it showed a link for the pic to the teeming millions site itself; that’s why I thought I was supposed to put the pic on the teeming millions page somewhere. ---

So if you’ve got one there, you can link a picture pretty easily (cut and paste). You have to click on the picture box to get the link to work, but its there. Thanks OC! ---

**jesuslynch** , Unfortunately, I’m not on the people pages yet. So I created an account on geocities, uploaded the jpeg there, and put the link in at the profile. So for other newbies not on the people pages who want to add a profile, this works just fine. ---
