Ok, **VampyChick**. Email me and I’ll get directions directly from your house to Southside. It’s basically right off I-59. I know you’ll probably come down Hwy 78, but not sure if you know all the turns. I am slknthreat on AIM and Kang on MSN ([kangrme@hotmail.com](mailto:kangrme@hotmail.com)). Or email me at [slkythreat@lycos.com](mailto:slkythreat@lycos.com) if you need me to send better directions. Can’t wait to meet you, either! 🙂 ---

Crap! We’re out. I broke my “pinkie” toe this afternoon. (One of these days, I swear I’m just gonna break that thing off!) So, walking (although not good on my best days) is out for this weekend. But \*\*Zah Kree \*\* is being very very nice, so it’s not all bad. (He’s promised to buy me peeps tomorrow.) And **'beastie** is meeting friends and is out too. I’m so so sorry. Please let us know how this goes. And I promise that I won’t be such a klutz for the next Bamadope. OK ok I promise to try. 🙂 Taking a happy pill - so I’ll check in tomorrow late or Sunday. Have fun, guys!! ---

Well, f\*ck. Due to an ear infection that has sprung up with wicked suddeness, necessitating a trip to the ER at four o’clock this morning for antibiotics, some kind of shot, and blessed ear-numbing drops…I’m out. Sorry, guys. But I’m looking forward to next time. This sucks. ---

I am sorry you folks couldn’t make it. I hope your pinkie toes and ears heal up, though. You will be sorely missed! I’m leaving outta here in about 30 minutes, folks that are still planning on coming. **Aries28** should have my cell number (as I do hers) in case of folks getting separated. I hope you, **Rez** , received my email last night as I sent it to you as well. **Noc** , if you’re still reading this, check your email in a few minutes and you’ll have it as well. See the rest of you BamaDopers soon! ---

We were late because of roadwork. We found two fountains downtown, but no Bamadopers. Sadness. ---

Oh no! **Nocturne** , where did you end up? We were in Five Points South, in Southside. At The (former) Mill, NOW called The Five Points Grill. I looked like a jack-in-the-box looking for you all evening. I am SO sorry you didn’t get there or possibly got the wrong place…because the Fountain I was speaking of is NOT in downtown Birmingham. I left you an email with my cell number…man, I feel so bad now. I should have tried to contact you earlier. If it makes you feel any better, we all left kind of early (due to **Aries28** and **Sauron** having to go fetch kidlets). I am sorry you had to make that trip, though. ☹ Email me at [slkythreat@lycos.com](mailto:slkythreat@lycos.com) if you want the four pictures we took. We had a fun, laid-back time, but no major partying! We can reserve the major partying for when you can be there…I promise. Again, I am sooooo sorry we missed you/or you missed us. We probably got our wires crossed. [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/the-return-of-the-bamadope/232705.md?page=3)
