the woman has been offered $5000 for the ball by some company, but with conditions , so maybe now she’s being rewarded for her behavior ---

Yeah, but she then kinda has to out herself, which I can’t see her doing. I suppose this can be done without her revealing her identity, but I sure as hell wouldn’t accept $5K for that (and the ball is required to be signed by her, “I’m sorry,” according to the report I read.) ---
