Give the Commanders a bit of credit for kicking the late field goal after gifting the Eagles a touchdown. This game is obviously not over, but Washington has to play a lot smarter on both sides of the ball. Quite an entertaining first half. ---

His run and then subsequent pass to get it into short range with 6 seconds left was spectacular. I forget he’s a rookie sometimes. ---

And suddenly a game of leap frog breaks out. This last call from the officials sounded like they were scolding children, and they warned Washington that they might literally just award a TD. (Which is now moot after an actual TD.) ---

If the officials determine that a team is intentionally and blatantly committing fouls to delay the game when faced with what is almost inevitably a score, then that seems to fill the criteria to me. That had to be the craziest game I’ve seen in a while. From the first moment if you dared to blink you missed something. The turnovers, the fake punt, the offsides at the inch mark. Just insane. On to the chiefs/buffalo game. ---

I’d like to see the Bills have a chance to get their first Super Bowl win, and the Chiefs are the new version of the Patriots: they’ve won the AFC in four of the last five seasons, and I’d like to see someone else. ---
