Hello everyone in San Diego! It looks like i’m moving your way (not San Fransico). I was just wondering - how many bed/bathrooms do you have in your place, and how much (rougly) is your rent? I’m trying to get a real-world estimate of how much i’ll need to be spending on rent thanks, broccoli! ---

San Diego here but my info won’t help much. I live in Navy housing. I did rent a 1 bedroom 1 bath for $475 before we moved here though. If you need anything when you get here or want to know anything before you get here e-mail me. ---

My brother-in-law has a 2 Bedroom, 1 bath place in Mission Valley that runs him close to $800 a month. It’s a really nice place, with a pool, gym, and tennis/basketball courts. Tight on parking, though. ---

We rented a 5 bedroom house in Rancho Penasquitos (about 20 miles north of downtown San Diego) for $1200. Nice neighborhood and wonderful schools. However, we lived in the house for 7 years (moved there in 1993), and our rent only increased $200 in that time. A similar house in the same area would now go for around $1400ish. My brother and sister-in-law rest a 4 bedroom house in Chula Vista for $1000. And, to get away from houses, my best friend rents a 1 bedroom apartment in National City for $475. ---
