The Wire - the episode where they are reconstructing a shooting in an apartment. Dialogue consists of just variations of the F word. Awesome scene. West Wing - where Bartlett is soaked by the rain and goes up on stage to make a speech. Slowly puts hands in pockets. Amazing stuff. ---

[/QUOTE] Also from that pair of episodes: when the father blows himself up :eek: My best CSI moment was when a wife-beater and murderer has got off because the time of death (based on insects activity) is unclear due to the body being wrapped. Sara in particular is very upset about this crime (her family history is related to abuse). Grissom sets up an lengthy experiment with a pig and settles down outside the lab in the cold to wait. Sara turns up with a flask of coffee and joins him. Nothing is said, but the emotion is terrific. ---

Series summarizing moments / scenes: _Angel_: There are two: DOYLE: “Is that it? Am I done?” and ANGEL: “Let’s go to work.” _Buffy_: The entire scene in the lecture hall during “Hush,” with Giles giving his silent presentation regarding the Gentlemen. _Firefly_: Simon Tam’s long speech to an incapacitated Jayne in the medical bay, followed by River’s coda. _Lost_: Tough call, but I’m going to go with: “You got any milk?” _Family Guy_: “This is worse than that time you played Marco Polo with Helen Keller.” _Frasier_: Frasier has conspired with his borderline evil ex-wife, Lilith, to pretend to their son that they are getting back together. He has not shared this plan with his brother Niles, and when son Frederick tells Uncle Niles - who hates Lilith along with all of Frasier’s family - Niles emerges from the bedroom with the best facial expression of all time, and says, “What’s this joyous news?” Text doesn’t do it justice, but if you saw the episode, you know what I mean. _Cheers_: “Are you as turned on as I am?” “More!” _Gilmore Girls_: “You and me? _ **Friends** _: When Ross and Rachel finally kiss and Phoebe says “See! He’s her lobster.” _ **The Sopranos** _: When Tony takes Meadow to visit that university and ends up killing that rat from Witness Protection. The scene of Tony getting his hands dirty (one of the earlier examples of him doing dirty work on the show), plus the conversation he has w/ Meadow about what he does for work (“There’s no Mafia!”), I think boils the entire series down to its essence. _ **Freaks and Geeks** _: When Sam finds out that Lindsay is becoming friends with Kim and blurts out “Kim Kelly is my enemy!” Also, the scene w/ Bill and that popular girl in the closet during spin the bottle. When she asks him why he’s always smiling and he says that it’s because he watches movies in his head. _ **Dead Like Me** _: When Rube visits his daughter, and she’s elderly and suffering from (I believe) alzheimers. She recognizes him as her father and asks where he’d been. I lost it during that scene. ---

Conceal it. SNL Jane Curtain ripping open her blouse on Weekend Update. MASH When Hawkeye has Charles’ clothes slightly altered to make him think he has gained/lost weight. **All in the family** the scene where Edith grabs something out of her fridge, and does it very fast, fridge door hardly ajar, and without looking, “to save energy”. Gloria compliments her, but Edith looks at her hands and says in a disappointed tone: “I didn’t really save energy, because I got the wrong item from the fridge, and -sigh- now I have to open the door again to put it back and take out what I really needed.” ---
