Does this really count as schadenfreude? I always figured that sf involved laughing at someone else’s “misfortune.” It’s not really misfortune when criminal conduct is involved–they were acting deliberately and they’re just getting called on it. As opposed to sf which would be more like laughing at someone who forgot their umbrella on a rainy day. I dunno, maybe I’m overthinking it. ---

Orlando has a metro population of 2 million, so it’s about the same size as Brisbane. I wouldn’t call it a big city. Houston and Dallas are considerably larger- upwards of 6 million. Austin and San Antonio are smaller than Brisbane, admittedly. ---
