Bad news! When it became apparent last night that I was booking my room at the Wolcott, Mr. Honey was forced to tell me that my mother is throwing a surprise birthday party for me on Saturday night of Dopefest Weekend. So not only can’t I attend my very first Dopefest, but I have to be the guest of honor at a surprise party and pretend to act surprised. ☹ ☹ ☹ ☹ ☹ I believe 2 Dopers were tentatively riding in my Dopemobile and I am truly very sorry that I have to let you down. Please forgive me. ---

**Honey** , the solution is simple: you attend the Dopefest anyway. Since this is a surprise party, and _you_ are no longer going to be surprised, the thing to do is proceed with your plans. Then when they have the surprise party and you’re not there, _they_ will be surprised. _And_ you get to attend the Dopefest. So you see, it works out, all the way around. Now, where do I find a kilt, real fast? And how much should I expect to shell out for one? ---

**MegaDopeFest Page 5 Pre-Update** I’m a bit too busy to do a full update right now, but the one bit of news that I’m afraid I have to pass along is a change to our Friday night plans. Unfortunately, Kettle of Fish will not work out because it is not handicapped accessable. We are working on an acceptable substitute. I’ll try to get you all a full update soon. ---

I’ve got T1 at school, **TruePisces**. Buttloads of computer labs, too. However, I know about as much about web design as the next guy (i.e. not much), and my html skills aren’t anything I’d brag about. The biggest problem I have isn’t with the coding as much as it is with the graphics. I can’t create anything on **Verrain** ’s computer to be used as a background/title graphic because he doesn’t have the software, and, even if I do something on my computer, I can’t get it to the 'Net. Now, if someone wants to create graphics for me and e-mail them to me, I’ll do the code, and **'punha** can host it.
