I called you **Lib** in my first reply to you because 1) it’s an OBVIOUS TRUNCATION, and 2) having lurked here for a while, I noticed that – gasp – others address you by it, as well. Leave your skepticism at the door. I think you’ve dropped enough hints at what you believe to be trolling for the mods to have taken a look at it. If it’s been decided that **askeptic** isn’t trolling, then you should drop it. ---

By suppressing ideas – and even specific words – you don’t like, you effectively validate them, at least in the minds of those who hold them. Get 'em out in the open and rip 'em apart, I say. I couldn’t understand why people stood by PCness and couldn’t understand the significance of “taking back” words, not to mention the whole refutation vs. suppression thing. ---
