Sheesh. It’s been quite the day here at the SDMB. We had a Limey Troll, a reg-gone-psycho, a heartbreaking thread about men crying, stuff about depressing movies… I say we need a break, and we deserve it. Come into my lounge, and pick one of the comfy seats. Please, feel free to help yourself to a drink at the bar. Let’s just wind down a bit, and share. This has been one of the more interesting days I’ve seen. All kinds of funky things going on to keep a person on edge. I like it. Fall is in the air. I agree with you wholeheartedly about watching a person self-destruct right before your eyes. Hard to know what to feel witnessing it and all. It really makes me wonder who else around here is about to crack and completely lose it on the board. ---

Hey, this chair sucks. I want Yojimbo’s chair! The cushions on my chair are all lumpy. Besides, Yojimbo’s not using it. He’s planted himself at the bar. I think he needs to lay off the whiskey a bit, if you ask me. He’s beginning to slur his words. ---

& Cnote is beginning to word his slurs…behave or we’ll make you sit in the beanbag & you’ll never get out…could be an advantage as long as the whiskey keeps coming. I’ll have a drink & pass you one if someone explains what I’ve missed & who needs consolation/chocolate/whatever to help - oh & I’ll have to wade in & defend the honour of the limeys too…but I’ll have a drink first & listen to some jazz, move up a little, Milo, let a girl sit down… ---

We limeys (or in my case, fake limeys) have had quite enough today (fuel crisis, pound collapse, general widespread panic) without CDMilk causing more trouble. God, what a joke. Hope this place serves Bombay Sapphire gin. ---
