Can I please have links to everything the OP refers to? Or I’ll put Marilyn Manson on full blast in the DJ booth, lock the door from the inside and close it. ---

Just got back from my walk with my dog, I could use a tall glass of water (no ice thank you) and a foot rub. Any takers? I love foot rubs. PS Yes I showered before I went on my walk but my hair is pretty sweaty \< sniff, sniff \> yes I still smell good. ---

I have spent an inordinate amount of time today attempting to have a conversation with a person who appears congenitally incapable of seeing any point of view except his own. I would like a gin gimlet, Sapphire, tall, rocks, with a twist, please, and a quick but comprehensive shoulder rub from an obliging gentleman. Don’t make me beg. ---

Mind you, American booze is… _looks round, sees all the americans_ um, nothing, anyway - why are you all drinking scotch, huh? _pushes yojimbo gently_ splat! ok, next itme, I put a beanbag underneath! ---

After the ridiculous heat of this day, a “chill-out” lounge is just what this gal could use. Meanwhile, I need to catch up on the goings-on here. All I know about is the reg-gone-psycho. What’s all this other stuff? Frick. ---

Well, I have been on massive dose of Darvocet for the past week and a half because of a herniated disk, but I think I’ll stop in and have a glass or two of champagne anyway. My days have consisted of 1. collapse on the couch for an hour or two 2. read SDMB for 20 minutes or so 3. collapse on the couch for an hour or two 4. take more Darvocet ad infinitum. I don’t know how I’m going to manage once I have to go back to work. This is the first time I’ve seen someone self-destruct on-line. Is it always so interesting around here? ---

Incidentally, y’all. I didn’t precisely know how to introduce myself before without hijacking a thread, but it seems entirely appropriate to do so in this one. Hello all, and I look forward to a whole lot of thought-provoking discussion. Tom ---
