What did he get banned for? I emailed a mod to find out because I wanted to know what happened to the fruitpie cult thread. I did not get a reply though.
Did you put ‘SDMB’ in the subject?
Try again with that. And try different admins. TubaDiva, Lynn Bodini, CKDexterHaven etc…
They get s***loads of spam and so the ‘SDMB’ is to distinguish your e-mail from the spam.

Since no-one seemed to get this the first time and the thread got sucked up,here goes.I originally posted as lemon_martini2,then tried to subscribe under that name.Since there were problems,my mate FruitPie opened an account and allowed me to use it to post it(which AFAICT is perfectly legitimate).When he got banned,I got another mate to open the account six_personalities and let me post on it.Shrinking_Violet will testify that we’re still trying to get me subscribed but it’s not working(for some reason,it won’t accept the username and passwords I’ve given and won’t let SV select her own password for me) so I’m having to use different friends’ accounts to cover me.
