So which of Santa’s lists do you go on this year? Let’s see, I remembered my wife’s birthday and our anniversary. I ate all my vegetables. Avoided public nudity. And I got up each time the kids cried during the night instead of stuffing cotton in my ears. With the exception of starting a food fight in the SDMB Dysfunctional Family Thanksgiving thread, I’d say I qualify for “Nice”. Excellent. More loot for me. So which list do you go on? Remember…naughty sometimes means even more presents! 😉 ---

I think I’m on the “Nice- by reason of crummy year” list. Sort of like “Not guilt by reason of…” but not really. Let’s see, I’ve been down-sized, moved, quit that job because it was in the tiniest town and my personal life sucked, moved again, had things broken both times, lost luggage on the way to a wedding (including my tux, not a rental), moved in to a new place only to find out one month later that I’ll be out of town for work for the next 9 (nine!) months, and I’m single (go figure). So, yeah, I’ve been somewhat nuaght this year, but, damn, I’ve had a rough year. I’m only 27 and I’ve kinda got high blood pressure (159 over 98, pulse of 62). ---

Let’s see… Ate Veggies, remembered all birthdays, anniversary coming up, but I remembered that. Did housework required of me. Stayed Married for 3rd year in a row 😃 I think I’m going on the nice list. ---

Am I required to give a definitive answer? I’d rather just say that I’ve done okay when it was easy to be good and in the cases of naughtiness…well, I’ve done the naughty list proud. Isn’t that better than only mediocre naughtiness? Doesn’t that count for something? Besides, if it never leaks to the Being-In-Charge-Of-Determining-Niceness-And-Naughtiness, why should I admit anything? And isn’t admitting naughtiness in itself a nice thing to do? I’m over-analyzing this, aren’t I? _sigh_ Well, I don’t hurt people or animals on purpose. I try to leave at least one piece of candy in the jar. I’m sorry thinksnow had a bad year. Give him all my nice points. He sounds like he needs a big treat. ---

Nice. To the point of being spineless. I gave my ex-wife everything she wanted in our divorce settlement, even though it cleaned me out completely and I’m still struggling financially. And I didn’t take her to court even though I could’ve on the grounds of infidelity, because I have photos that show her cheating on me with one person, and testimony from two people that she cheated on me with another. I backed down and let one of my colleagues get a really great assignment to Germany, even though I was better qualified and had been the next in line, it was really important to him to go, and so I let him have it. I think that based just on those two things I should get at least a little more than a lump of coal in my stocking this year. I also ate all my vegetables, called my mom and grandmother often, and got the highest score possible on my evaluation at work. Not saying that I deserve anything special, but I think Santa better bring me that new jacket that I asked for. ---

I’ve been looking after my friends more than myself up until recently, I try to be nurturing to the point where I used to neglect my own problems. ☹ I hook up occasionally with random people whom I don’t even know their names and don’t care. ☹ I am happy when my friends have everything going well for themselves. 🙂 I am taking care of my own needs these days. 😃 I’m trying not to mooch off of my parents too much. 🙂 I am doing pretty well in school when I bother to do the work. 😛 I keep secrets and people trust me with some deep shit. :eek: There’s some other stuff I’m not gonna post that’s naughty because it’s not for anyone to know. ⭕( I think I’m about even, but leaning towards nice. ---
