# The SDMB needs a "rim shot" smiley

I think that the SDMB needs a rim shot smiley. Ya’ know, the Ba-Dup-Tish that follows a stand-up’s bad joke. I don’t have the technical expertise to create one.

[nitpick] A rimshot is actually when you strike the drum (usually a snare drum) on both the head _and_ the rim, making a rather loud gunshot-type sound.[/nitpick]

All technicalities aside, I know this is the accepted lingo for such an action, and I’m all for the idea. Then again, I _am_ a little biased. I wonder how you could manage to fit a little drum and cymbal with the face?
