I got your story, **Savannah** , and also a story from **chrisk**. Fantastic! I’m afraid I’m out - between the show I’m in and recording sessions this week, not a word was written down. If I do get something written, I’ll put it in the Anthology once the poll is up and running, but I won’t in the running for the actual contest. Still ten days to go… ---

I loved the words and picture, very inspiring. Can’t wait to see what others do with them. Too inspiring actually. I wrote about 4000 words and had to edit out half of it. If anyone ends up liking my story enough to want to read the uncut version I’ll post a link after the contest is over. But I take that as a good sign. While I’ve been enjoying these things on their own merits, I’ve also been using them as a way to get my juices flowing enough to go ahead and write a whole novel. I have the summer off for the most part starting next week, and my sweetie will be away until Fall, so I might just make that my project. ---

Just submitted mine as well…and the photo certainly did make this a bit of a challenge! Looking forward to seeing what others wrote. BTW, I almost misunderstood the first word of the three words, not noticing that extra “e” that totally changed the meaning. ---

I’ve submitted my story. Not really satisfied with it, but what author never wants to tinker with what they have written? What I really want is to see the stories from other writers. Last time I have to file a little hear and there to get it in at under 2000 words. This time my story was really short, just over 1400. Does anyone else have trouble keeping it to 2000? ---

So, that’s six stories so far, from **Savannah chrisk jackdavinci Bake DMark** and **EmilyG**. Still lots of time to enter, folks… And I’ll make the offer that I always make. If anyone who didn’t finish on time would like to submit whatever they have, I’ll happily publish it in the Anthology - it just won’t be in the poll. That way, you’ll still get (some) readers commenting on what you’ve written. ---
