It’ll be under “Tournaments” and it had SDMB in the title last week, easy to find. I think you just have to ask permission. I can’t really remember signing up last week, it all happened so fast. But you will miss a lot without AIM. I was wary of DL’ing and using it, but it was fairly painless and adds a lot to the rapport among players during the game. Not a must have, I didn’t have it when I started, but I’m glad I have it now. ---

I think the reason we picked PokerTropolis is because we just wanted to have a tournament format, and as small of stakes as possible. PT fit that just fine. PokerRoom didn’t allow for private tournaments, that was our major gripe with it. These games are more for fun and board bragging rights, I don’t think anybody is going to use PokerTracker to win $.40/week. This is more like a glorified home game, not a WSOP satellite or something that serious. So no, I don’t think that selecting a site that supported PokerTracker was high on the list of priorities, but I can’t speak for the entire group. ---

PokerTracker didn’t matter to me. A private game where we could have raising blinds did matter. I’m happy for the change. Will I only see the game in Tournaments once Xray adds my ID# to a list? As of right now, I don’t see anything except the typical charity/officially sponsored tournaments. ---

Having pokertracker support would be nice, because then we could record the hands and see where things went horribly wrong, but I don’t think any of the sites that pokertracker support allow groups to set up private tournaments like pokertropolis does. As soon as **x-ray vision** adds your pokertropolis name to the SDMB group, you should see it under the tournaments / multi-table section. Make sure you get him your name and account number ASAP, though, as it seems to take a few minutes. My problem last week was that I wasn’t added until the last minute, and missed getting in by mere seconds. I was able to take off early enough from work this week to make it, so I plan to be both rude and grim tonight. ---
