If you consider what I wrote in the OP a prediction you need to loosen up a bit. It was clearly a bunch of smack talking and an invitation for more of the same. And somehow you missed the point. For the second year in a row. ---

I saw the highlight of the Ravens game, and an indicator of their future: Kordell Stewart trying to run a pass offense. I’m still wiping up the tears from laughing so hard. On another subject, how about those Browns? I picked up a Cleveland paper today and they’re trashing their own team. Already. I am surprised at how easy the Ravens made it look when they stuffed Vick; but the Falcons don’t look very strong at this point. ---

You know what really sucks? The Ravens have a new owner, so I can’t hate them because of that turd Modell anymore. Oh, wait, I can hate them because they should still be in Cleveland except for that turd Modell, and because he moved them I’m forced to go elsewhere to watch the Steelers in spite of the fact that Central Pennsylvania is Steelers country. There, I knew I could find a reason to hate them. 🙂 ---

I just got back from the Steelers game. I finally got tickets to a game at Heinz Field, and it’s a nice place. I couldn’t have asked for a better game- winning like this vs. any AFC North opponent in the regular season would have made it a little nicer, but I’ll take it. My seats (the wife and I) were on the 10 yard line, near where Randle EL made his circus catch. Revenge on the Texans, 38-3. Pre-season, but it’s another step on the march… ---

Yeah, it was definitely a spanking, but it’s just preseason, so while I can rightfully be excited about it I can’t get too excited. Besides, the Texans suck eggs. ---

Well, the 3 years running NFC Chamionship Game Iggles have left their starters in the entire first half whereas the 6-10 last year Steelers put in their second team in the second quarter, and the Iggles are STILL down by a field goal, 17-14. Tell me this isn’t shaping up to be a hell of a season, Steelers fans! 😃 ---

Fucking hamsters ate my post! Gah!!! Anyway, I predict a Jets - Cowboys all-tuna Superbowl. Pats can lose because they never destroy anybody, they always just barely win. And in those wins they usually get an awful lot of lucky breaks. Once those dry up, the conference is wide open. The asspounding my beloved Giants took yesterday sucked big moose dick. If they still produced the Wide World of Sports, Kurt Warner would be the new “agony of defeat” guy. The only thing I hate more than the Sheagles is TO. So it was nice to see them join forces to embarass big blue. Ugh. At least Strahan didn’t point at the scoreboard this time. Sucks to have your back against the wall in week 2, but we _really_ need to beat the Redskins next week. Fortunately, our weaknesses are stopping the run and being soft in the secondary, so we’ll match up well against Coles and Clinton fucking Portis. Good christ.
