Morning all. Durn muezzin woke HRH up this morning and she wouldn’t go back to sleep, so we have been (kind of) awake since 5am. She is presently [rearranging](http://picasaweb.google.com/nmphil/GeneralPhotos#5299894726803070050) the contents of her day-bag (the bag of clothes and stuff that goes with her to MIL’s house during the week). Potty training is progressing - hits, misses, flat refusals to wear underwear followed by peeing half in the potty and half on the mat - the usual! 😉 ---

Tomorrow I will scritch my aunt’s pups since I can’t get to Bernie to scritch her. Poor thing. ☹ I hope the meds kick in soon so she starts feeling better. It may be Firday but tomorrow is _my_ Firday. I want it to be tomorrow night at this time because I won’t have to go back to work until Tuesday. I like my job and all but I’m ready for a break. ---

Thanks for the advice, guys. I think I _will_ pick out something myself, and he’ll just have to live with it. 😛 As for Valentine’s Day, we’re probably just going to stay in and I’ll cook dinner. And maybe dress up in something more exciting than usual. 😉 I hate going out and having to deal with the onslaught of chocolate and flowers being sold from every available street corner. Believe me, it’s ten times worse in Korea. **rigs** , you really need to join in on my “eat more healthily” resolution. Either that or pass the M&Ms. ---

I forgot to tell you this before - I was watching Barney this morning with HRH, when I heard something that made me nearly wet myself. I knew it! I always suspected Barney had a hidden agenda. (don’t remember a squirrel, though, just a really really obnoxious smaller dinosaur named Baby Bop). I am very pissed off right now re the HS and the SAT. I emailed earlier in the week with a question and the guy forwarded it on to someone else who hasn’t replied to me. Deadline is MONDAY, folks. (ok, Tuesday, but I’m busy all day Tuesday). GRRRRRR. It was supposed to rain today but the sun is shining mightily. The snow is melting fast. Yay for a break in the weather! ---

Hello everyone. I’ve finally joined the land of the living. I was extremely ill all day Thursday, Thursday night and all day yesterday. I spent most of that time lying in bed or puking. It’s difficult to puke when there’s nothing in your tummy! I had a horrible headache that accompanied all that. Anyway, I’m not totally 100%, but I can sit upright and I know just have a garden variety cold. :rolleyes: My head still hurts, but it’s nothing like the last few days. I tried to read, but didn’t retain much, so obviously my concentration and retention skills are not up to snuff. With that being said, hugs, boos, and kisses (air kisses, don’t want y’all catching this crap), all around. ---

Awww, poor **Taters!** _passes the chicken soup and a shoulder rub_ Git better, young lady! **Doggio,** it begins… They lay low for a week or so being cute and well behaved to lull you into a false sense of security and then they start thinking up the most “WTF!!!” stunts to pull. Complete exhaustion is your only hope–Gordie’s, I mean, yours will happen naturally and won’t fix a thing! Speaking of goggies, this morning Bear has mounted an assault on Widget’s bed in the living room. It’s not his bed but he wants to be in it this morning and is resentful that I backed Widget up and made him move. So he curled up right NEXT to Widget on the edge of the bed and has been strategically squishing him back against the wall. [Grumbling is happening](http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h16/smartaleq/100_0657.jpg)… Ain’t pets fun? I ordered a pair of wireless headphones and they appear to work just fine aside from the batteries not charging correctly. I put regular batteries in there and it was fine but so far either the rechargeable batteries it came with are crap or the base set itself isn’t charging correctly. I haz a grr about this. \*\*Dotty, \*\*that’s the stupidest fortune cookie message I’ve ever seen–seriously, WTF? _skims the first part of **LiLi** ’s post because she doesn’t wanna know… lalalalalalalala_ At Shopsin’s, I had the Reuben Hash, which is like deconstructed reuben sandwich (sauerkraut, corned beef, swiss cheese) collided with corned beef hash, and with a side of rye toast. Super-yummy. The Boy had chorizo pancakes with mango salsa, and some other stuff I’ve since forgotten but that was rather tasty as well. Feel better soon, **Taters**. Soda crackers are your friend. I suppose I should quit puttering and actually get some housework done. The house is untidy at the moment, which I’m able to tolerate most of the time, but it’s bordering on outright messy, which I can’t tolerate at all. ---

Da cave is spiffed. Go me. It wasn’t actually filthyfied so a little dustin’, cleanin’ the kitchen counters and the bathroom and moppin’ the bathroom and kitchen pretty much made things all spiffy. I have to work next Firday so I only get one day off this next week. Ok, I agreed to work in somebody’s place. He’s gettin’ hitched next Satiddy, Valentine’s Day even. How romantic.
