There was a brief discussion which inspired me…
Much like the Seven Dwarves… I think there are the Seven Faggots of the SDMB:
The Seven Faggots of the SDMB: Horny(matt\_mcl), Party(scottevil), Jumpy(gobear), Cranky(kirkland), Herby(Homebrew), Overly Friendly(Esprix), and Trampy(yours truly).

Well… I know you mean well Hastur but whenever you starting making lists like this, horseplay often turns to tears and other less prolific, but equally fabulous faggot posters will feel a bit left out of this “in with the in crowd” list kicking their shoes at the pavement while the “popular” fags cavort on the playground.
I think a better approach, instead of forming a club of sorts, would be to offer [Wizard of Oz style gifts](http://www.filmsite.org/wiza5.html)to gay posters whom you admire.

Not to sound catty or throw cold water on what is a light-hearted thread, but is it safe to assume that since this thread was started by an acknowledged homosexual it’s okay?
Because, to carry it further, had it been started by a heterosexual, it could have been taken to the Pit, everyone would flame the OP for being intolerant and mean (“How dare you say such things about **Matt, Scott,** etc. you’re dealing with stereotypes…”), the OP would be chastised by a mod, there would be demands for his banning, and the thread would be summarily closed.
To be honest, I was startled by the thread title. I thought it was being mean, although when I read the OP, I thought it was clever. But I couldn’t help but think what I posted above.
If it’s acceptable for the gay members to talk about themselves this way, I guess that’s okay.
Any African-American members want to start a “Seven Niggers of the SDMB” thread?
