The two greatest female names of all time: Clara Anne or Annie (but no other variants thereof) Evelyn (actually, it’s the greatest name of all time, period, for either sex) Also good: Rachel Rebecca Nadezhda Deborah (but _not_ Debbie (ugh)) ---

I’ve always been enamored of the names Fiona and Helen. In fact, when I lived in England I once asked out a woman just because I found out her full name was Fiona Helen (Lastname). I will also vouch for Sarah…actually I broke up with a Sarah last month ☹ ---

I don’t expect anyone to agree with me: Gretchen Every Gretchen I have ever met was stunning. I wanted to name my daughter Gretchen, but my wife would not allow it. I understand how people could think that it’s the female name equivalent of scraping your fingernails on a chalkboard, but I think it’s a beautiful name. ---
