The Simpsons/ 12/12

The majority of all animation you see on TV is done in Seoul.

It seems like all the eps are now a single storyline, instead of 2 or 3. It seems to make a big difference.

And that does include The Simpsons. According to the credits, this episode was animated at Rough Draft Studios Korea.

Apparently at the very beginning, there was some confusion. Smithers appeared black in an early episode, and the entire first episode was so horrible, it had to be thrown out and reanimated. Luckily, they were able to fix it all up eventually.

(Korea’s a good place, if you must animate there, but never, never farm your work out to Mexico City. Just ask Jay Ward.)

I’ve not been much of a fan of the past 4 episodes, but this one was great. I laughed quite a bit. Hope it’s a sign of what’s to come.

They should’ve had Kang and Kodos say that at the end.

Is this a good time to mention that I know the guy who wrote the episode? He is one of the funniest people I have ever known. His brother is pretty funny as well and wrote the classic Flaming Moes episode.
