We only had 8 votes in round 1. You can’t ALL be bitter over your favorite episode not making the tournament, can you? I mean, I lost a ton of my favorite episodes in round 1, but there are just as many good ones left in the game…do you really want Martin to win another election (Lisa the Substitute, 3 seed in the M/B/S bracket)? Round 2 closes Friday night at 10PM EDT. This is only reinforcing my enormous respect for the Oakstein team. Yeah, hopefully less to choose from means more people will vote. Especially since many of the matchups seem to be gimmes- but that means the later rounds will be even harder to choose. (That doesn’t mean there are some still difficult ones here- “Homie the Klown” vs. “Deep Space Homer” and “King Size Homer” vs. “Homer vs. The 18th Amendment” are _very_ tough matchups.) **Groening, Brooks & Simon Bracket** 9. I’m thinking about quitting this game in protest. After reviewing the list again, I realized the OP left out at least two of my personal five favorites: _Raging Abe Simpson_ and _Bart’s Inner Child_. Bah. ---

Of course, we could probably do a completely new Madness game of just the episodes from the first eight seasons that missed the cut for this one. ---

No “Sideshow Bob’s Last Gleaming” either. We may need a second 64 for a Simpsons ultimate megabracket. By the time that’s done, it’ll be time to start the Treehouse Madness (I’m suggesting it be broken down by segment instead of by episode). ---

[/QUOTE] For sure–I think pretty much all Sideshow Bob episodes are brilliant, except for the more recent ones. The last really good one was Brother from Another Series. Also, Stark Raving Dad. And Homer and Apu. And Bart of Darkness. And Lisa’s Wedding And Bart Sells His Soul And Homer’s Phobia And Realty Bites…I’ll just stop now. ---
